Dugger Genealogy - VA, NC, TN, etc.
Welcome to my Dugger web pages. This name can also be spelled Duggar, Dugard, Duggard, etc.
My most recent Dugger ancestor is Mary Dugger (c1750s-1836) who married Jacob Smith ca 1787 in Carter Co., TN. Mary's parents are not proven, but she appears to be a child of William Dugger (c1720-c1774) who came out of Brunswick Co., VA into NC in the mid 1700's.
William is thought to be a son of Daniel Dugger (c1696-1773) and Mary Scarborough of Surry and Brunswick Co., VA. Daniel's parents are unknown.
