GLORIA DOVE ROGERS PERSONS
Gloria Dove Rogers Persons, 71, died Thursday, November 15, 2012 after an illness. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Richardson Funeral Home, entombment will follow at Palmetto Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Monday, November 19, from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Persons was born in Marion, SC, a daughter of the late Joseph "Joe" Samuel Rogers and Eva Ines Turner Rogers. She is also predeceased by brothers, Samuel Rogers, Allen Rogers, David Rogers, and Warren Rogers. She was a homemaker and Baptist by faith.
Surviving are her husband, Robert Hamilton Persons of Raeford, NC; daughter, Karen Denise Persons of Mooresville, NC; brother, Danny Rogers of Oregon, Sidney Rogers of Lake Wales, FL; sisters, Anne R. Lane (Bob) of Columbia, SC, Bobbi Jean James of Lake Wales, FL, Judy Allen (Larry) of Latta, SC, Gail Duckett of Mooresville, NC, Betty Jo Rogers of Columbia, SC, and Cherry Rogers of Mooresville, NC.
