!NOTES:There is an apparent widow Alla Holden (c1778) living with Hugh and Dicy in 1850, at first glance I would assume she was Dicey's mother. However, Sellers lists Hugh's wife as a Godbold, and the 1860 census shows a widow Sallie Welch (c1780) living with them. Need more evidence to be certain who Dicey's parents are.

There is a Dicey Godbold, minor child of John Godbold 16 Nov 1811 (See Probate Roll # 293 John Godbold), that could easily be this same person, but no proof;
