!NOTES:Mary's D/C gives her parents as William Hyatt and Lettie McKenzie. I can't find any such couple in Marion in 1850, 1860, 1870 or 1880, nor a Mary Hyatt who matches. Mary is listed as widowed in 1900, 1920 and 1930, but in 1910 she was listed as Single, which might be correct.

If she is a widow, I don't know who her husband was. I once thought she was same person as Mary, wife of Morgan Taylor, but there is ample evidence that she was Mary Surles, and also that she and Mary Hyatt Taylor are two different people.;
