!OBITUARY:(Shared by Evelyn Tharp);Campbell, German German Campbell,75, died Saturday, Nov. 10 in an Asheville hospital. A native of Graham County, he retired from the Air Force. He served in World War II, Vietnam and Korean Wars. He was a retired mail carrier. He was the son of the late Alexander "Buck" Campbell and Mary Head Campbell. Surviving are his wife, Della Grant Campbell; three daughters, June Campbell of Richmond, Va., Sarah Campbell of Robbinsville and Rhonda Campbell of High Point; and two sisters, Stella Campbell of Robbinsville and Chris Gilreach of Myrtle Beach, S.C. Services were held Monday, Nov. .12 in Townson-Smith Funeral Home Chapel. The Revs. Ray Stewart and David Anderson officiated. Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery in Macon County.-November 15, 1990
