!CIVIL WAR:For the Civil War, Frank Collins, served as a Private in 26th Regiment Infantry. He was also listed as a Corporal as "F. A. Collins". I'm assuming that F. A. and Frank are the same person, and that he was promoted from the ranks. He was reported as dying at Mount Pleasant. ("A History of Marion County, South Carolina", 1902, by W. W. Sellers, Esq, Pages 636-639)

Collins and two children: William Franklin Harman Collins born 25 Dec 1858 and Seburn John Walter Collins born 16 Feb 1861.
