!NOTES:I believe he was probably born in May 1873 as per the 1900 census, so the 13 May date from T/S seems accurate, though the year is off there;

!NOTES:D/C gives parents as Frank Adams and Jane Hersel. I can't find anything on them, perhaps D/C wrong. There are two William Adams in 1880 Graham about the right age. The one who most closely matches is William R. Adams (14 May 1873 - 22 Jun 1962) son of Taylor Adams & Jane Crisp. This is clearly not the same person, though his B/D is one day different! The other is William Adams (c1873) son of Ace Adams and Sarah. This almost has to be him unless our William J. is from some other county. The D/C of their son Alfred Adams (1875) shows parents to be John Ace Adams and Sarah Gibson. Alfred buried at Lone Oak, same as this William's wife Sarah. Don't know if William in that family is this same William or not. Not 100% confident. ;
