!OBIT:Morgan, Shirley S.

Mrs. Shirley S. Morgan, 62, passed away Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003, at Forsyth
Medical Center. Shirley was born in Marion, S.C., on Feb. 8, 1941, the daughter
of William "Bill" and Iola Turner Shelley. She was employed for 23 years with
Wachovia Bank in the commercial lending department and was a member of Bethany
Baptist Church. Shirley was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother
who cherished all time spent with her extended family members. Surviving are
her husband, David L. Morgan of the home; two daughters, Cindy Pegram and her
husband, Steve, of Winston-Salem and Teresa Morgan of Pfafftown; a stepson,
Ronald Morgan and wife, Pam, of Creedmoor; three granddaughters, Morgan Pegram of
Winston-Salem and Shannon and Ashley Morgan of Creedmoor; a brother, Doug
Shelley and wife, Pat, of Level Cross; and a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Scarce of
Danville, Va. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Vogler and
Sons Reynolda Chapel by the Rev. Don Harvey. Entombment will be in Forsyth
Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today,
Dec. 1, at the funeral home and all other times at the home of Steve and Cindy
Pegram. Memorials may be made to Bethany Baptist Church Building Fund.
