!NOTES:I don't know that this John is part of the Peter Stroud Sr family, but there are other Peter Stroud connections in Rabun and Forsyth, so it's certainly possible.


!NOTES:Is this Peter Stroud Sr's son John Stroud? He certainly fits age-wise (1790/1800) if born ca 1790. That also fits with John of Forsyth (see note below). The only problem is his 1850 entry shows him born in Georgia which doesn't fit for being Peter Stroud's son. He didn't make it to 1860 so we don't have that record to cross reference his birth place to.'


!NOTES:I don't know for certain that the John Stroud of 1830 Rabun is the same one in Forsyth in 1840 and 1850, but I think they're the same because the ages match and there were no children in any of those census records.;


!NOTES:If the 1830 Rabun family is *not* the same one later in Forsyth, then perhaps this John (of 1830 Rabun) was the husband of Priscilla (---) stroud (c1800) who was living with Peter Stroud (1807) in 1850 Union Co., GA. She fits age-wise with the 1830 census entry and we know Peter Stroud was in Rabun in the 1830s'.
