!NOTES:fromTom Howard:
And, part of the following entry is incorrect. + 32 i Andrew3 HENSLEY [37819], born 1809/10 in Buncombe Co, NC. He married Happy GILBERT [37820). He actually married Happy Howard Hensley (b. abt 1821, Harlan Co., KY). Although I have found no marriage record of Happy's marriage to John Helton (I wonder if this is the same man who was later killed by Samuel Howard?), other records confirm it. Happy, a.k.a. Pink or Pinky, was the daughter of Andrew (abt. 1781-1823/34) and Rebecca (Osborne) Howard (1790-bet. 1860 and 1870). Happy had an adulterous affair with Andrew Hensley during her marriage to Helton. She married Hensley shortly after her divorce from Helton, and went on to live "happily" ever after. Andrew Howard, above, was a son of Samuel and Chloe Howard. Rebecca was probably a daughter of Ephriam Osborne (1752-1852). If Andrew Hensley was a son of Lewis and Nancy Howard Hensley, then Andrew and Happy were first cousins. See notes below.
