Don Stewart
Don Stewart, 71, of the Dick Branch community, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at Britthaven of Graham.
He was a native of Graham county and the son of the late James and Biddie Carringer Stewart. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Myrtle Grant, Loretta Orr and Ethel S. Holcomb.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kay Holder Stewart; daughters, Machelle Crisp and Regina Franks, both of Robbinsville; sisters, Helen Rolen and Irene Marsh, both of Gastonia; brothers, Fred Stewart and James Stewart, both of Gastonia; and three grandchildren, Nicholas, Shelly and Jesse Franks.
Funeral services were held on March 9 at the Townson-Smith chapel with Revs. Gary Crisp and J.B. Smith officiating. Committal services were held on March 10 at Lone Oak Cemetery.
Townson-Smith Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
