!NOTES:Who is Susanna's father? Census analysis helps narrow down the suspects.
1810 census. Susanna would be about 4 or 5, so in the under 10 age group.
1 - David Stroud has two daughters this age, neither identified.

1820 census. Susanna would be about 14 or 15, so in the 10-15 age group.
1 - Eccles Stroud has one this age, but he has a proven daughter Susan, not this one.
2 - David Stroud has a daughter this age.

Based only on the above I'd have to conclude that Susannah is a daughter of David Stroud.

One alternate possibility regards Peter Stroud (Jr)'s unnamed daughter who married John Garrett before 1834. John Garrett murdered Peter Stroud Jr in 1834 and for all we know was hung for it (no records of his fate). It's theoretically possible that Susanna was his wife and that she married John Tanner between 1834 and 1836. If so, the older Tanner children aren't hers.

So therefore there's a chance she's a child of Peter Stroud Jr OR David Stroud. I'm choosing David for now, lacking better evidence for Peter.;
