Marty and Karla Grant

Marty,
I have recently discovered a daughter of William and Sarah Grant that
you do not have listed. She died in July of 1849 before her parents, so she
wouldn't be mentioned in their wills. Her name was Susannah Grant Reel.
She was married to John Finger Reel of Burke/McDowell Co. who also
died a few days before her. I found this information in John F. Reel's
estate papers. These papers state that Susannah's father was William Grant.
Apparently, this estate was disputed as John's brother - Isaac A. Reel - who
settled his estate was taken to court by William Grant in McDowell court records. I have copies I can send if you are interested.
