!OBITUARY:
Linda Ayabe, 49, of Emeryville, passed away June 7, 2004 at the Highland General Hospital in Oakland, CA. She was born August 8, 1954 in Oakland, CA Naval Hospital and lived part of her life in San Pablo, CA. She was the daughter of Julius J. and Evelyn Tharp of Pinole, CA. In addition to her parents she is survived by a son, Kenneth Sunderland of the home, brothers, Steven Layshot of Grass Valley and Vincent Tharp of Vallejo, CA. She was employed at the Kennedy High School in Richmond, CA and has been with the school district since September 4, 1984. Open casket viewing will be held Tuesday, June 15 from 1-8pm at the Wilson & Kratzer Mortuaries, 455 24th Street, Richmond, CA. Services will be graveside at 1pm Wednesday, June 16, at Memory Gardens Memorial Park, 2011 Arnold Industrial Way, Concord, CA. The Rev. Neal Doty will officiate.
