!NOTES:This person is unknown, but Daniel Thomas Davis (1847) and James Madison Davis (1850) are together in 1880 listed as cousins. Assuming they are 1st cousins, this man would be James's father, and Daniel's uncle.
* This may be Henry Davis of 1850, 1860 & 1870 Buncombe. He had a son James born ca 1850/51 with him in 1860. More research needed to be sure.
* Henry's wife was Elizabeth Curtis per D/C of several children.;
