Dorothy Phillips
Dorothy Phillips, 87, of Robbinsville, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Murphy Medical Center in Murphy.
She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late Robert and Sarah Carpenter Phillips. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Grace Phillips; and her brother, Grady Phillips.
She is survived by her sister, Fannie Webster; brother, Dee Phillips, both of Robbinsville; nieces and their husbands, Leta and Nick Nichols of Robbinsville, Lee and Travis Hyatt of Bryson City; nephew, Randy Phillips of Robbinsville; great-niece, Becky Moody; great-nephews, Patrick and Matthew Nichols, Connor and Cooper Hyatt, Myson Phillips; great-great-nieces and nephew, Sydney and Garrett Moody and Aubrey Nichols.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 1 at the Townson-Smith Chapel. The Rev. Noah Crowe officiated. Burial was in the Old Mother Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Patrick Nichols, Matthew Nichols, Nick Nichols, Travis Hyatt, Robert Moody and Eric Sellers.
Townson-Smith Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
