Mrs. Charlotte Campbell Lane, 80, died Sunday, July 15, 2007 at
Marion County Medical Center after an extended illness. Funeral
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 18 at Marion
Baptist Church, burial will follow at Devotion Gardens. The family
will receive friends Tuesday, July 17, from 6:00-8:00 pm at
Richardson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lane was born in Marion, a daughter of the late L.B. Campbell
and Georgia Weatherford Campbell. She is predeceased by her husband,
Rupert L. Lane as well as two brothers and seven sisters. Mrs. Lane
was a member of Marion Baptist Church and the Gleaners Sunday School
Class. She was retired from Pargas Gas Company.

Surviving are sons, Lafon Lane and his wife Katherine of Marion,
Fulton Lane and his wife Donna of Dillon, and Greg Lane of Marion;
daughter, Sandra L. Thompson and her husband Stan of Marion;
grandchildren, Bryan Lane and his wife, Wendi, Chris Lane, J.T.
Thompson and his wife Michelle, Julie Reynolds and her husband,
Ryan, Sarah Lane, and Gregory Lane; great-grandchildren, Carsten
Walker, Noah Walker, and Rowan Lane.

Memorials may be made to the Marion Baptist Church Childcare
Program, 106 S. Main Street, Marion, SC 29571.
