Hedrick, Doris Britt
CHARLOTTE -- Doris Britt Hedrick, 77, of Charlotte, N.C., died at
Presbyterian Wesley Care Center in Charlotte on Dec. 10, 2003. Born in
Marion, S.C., the daughter of Walter and Isla Williams, Doris was educated
in Marion schools, but lived most of her adult life in Charlotte, N.C. She
was employed with Lesonna Corporation for many years.
She was predeceased by a daughter Margaret Gay Vickery and is survived by
her children, Richard F. Lane, of Charlotte, Walter R. Lane, of Chapel Hill,
and Carol L. Cabarac of New Orleans, Louisiana, a sister, Patsy B. Glaze of
Marion, six grandchildren, Kim Vickery of Columbia, SC, Burch Vickery of
Norfold, Va., Chris Lane, Martin Lane and Cameron Lane of Charlotte, and
Daryn Lane of Chapel Hill, N.C., and four great grandchildren, three nieces.
Kathy T. Lambert and Lisa T. Campbell of Marion, Cindy T. McMillan of
Mullins, and two nephews, Jack V. Tindal, Jr. of Louisville, Ky., and
Russell Tindal of Moncks Corner.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to United Methodist Church of
Marion, N.C. of Hospice in Charlotte, N.C.
A Memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 20, 2003, at the First United
Methodist Church of Marion, at 11:30 a.m.
