!NOTES:There is a Harriet Gurley (c1852) in McDowell in 1860 with parents James (c1812) and Mary (c1825). In 1870 Harriet is in Burke age 18 as Domestic Servant in Hogan McElrath household. Not certain if same Harriet Gurley who married William Davis, but found no others nearby.;
