Dale Eugene Orr, Jr. age 21, of Robbinsville, went home to be with the Lord Sunday Sept. 27, 2009. He was a 2006 graduate of Robbinsville High School.

Dale was an avid sportsman and loved spending time outdoors. He was the son of Lois Pressley of Robbinsville, and the late Dale Orr Sr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Johnny and Roselle Waldroup Pressley, and his paternal grandparents, Swinfield and Hattie Jenkins Orr.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Eva Pressley and Steven and Rebekah Pressley, all of Robbinsville; his sister and brother-in-law, Rhonda and Josh Lane of Robbinsville; his girlfriend, Alyssa Lane, of Robbinsville; and his nieces and nephews, Camilla and Clayson Lane and Carson and Keilee Pressley, all of Robbinsville.

Funeral services were held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29 at the Townson-Smith chapel with Revs. Daniel Stewart and Scott Roper officiating. Committal services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30 at the Pressley Cemetery. The family received friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel, prior to the service.

Townson-Smith Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
