Additional Information

Pack:

Notes:

!NOTES:I don't have absolute proof he is John's son, but he fits for a variety of reasons. More evidence would be helpful;

Rebecca Henderson:

Notes:

!NOTES:Rebecca Pack is a proven child of William Henderson. She was apparently dead by 1851 when he made his Will, leaving something to her heirs (not named).

He has an otherwise unidentified daughter born ca 1790/1800 with him in 1800. She was gone by 1810 unless listed in the 1784/1790 grouping, which would work if born ca 1790. She was definitely gone by 1820 so probably married by then.
He had another apparent daughter born 1810/1815 with him in 1820 and 1830. Based on where Rebecca was listed in the Will of her father I suspect she must be the one born ca 1790.

We know she married a Pack. There were Pack families in Rutherford Co., NC (now Polk) near the Hendersons. In fact, his oldest son James married a Jane Pack in Sumner Co., TN in 1818. It is therefore noteworthy that I found an apparent widow Rebecca Pack on the 1840 census in that county. Was that Rebecca Henderson Pack?

More research is needed to be sure.;
