Tina Moody Brooks
(July 4, 1956 - October 17, 2008)

Tina Brooks, age 51 of Robbinsville, passed away, Friday, October 17, 2008 at her residence. She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of Leona Blevins Moody and the late James Moody. In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband, Everett Brooks; sons and daughters-in-law, Jacob and Julie Phillips of Houston, TX, James and Cher Atwell of Conroe, TX, Weldon and Melissa Brooks of Robbinsville, Fitchue and Angela Morrison of Hiawassee Dam, GA, Atlas and April Brooks of Kernersville, NC, Todd and Teresa Phillips of Searcy, AK; daughters, and son-in-law, Amanda Phillips, Carrie Phillips both of Conroe, TX, Caroline Phillips of Robbinsville, and Shelley and David Orr of Robbinsville; sisters, Polly Buchanan, Oletha Moody both of Robbinsville, and Rena Ashe of Bryson City, NC. She has 18 grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at the Townson-Smith Chapel. The Reverend Jim Postell will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Tuesday at the chapel prior to the services. Townson-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
