!OBIT:Iris Gayle P. Turner MULLINS - Iris Gayle Phillips Turner, 66, wife of Phil Turner, died Sunday, March 14, 2010, at Regency Hospital in Florence after an illness. Mrs. Turner was born January 1, 1944, in Marion County, a daughter of the late Albert George Phillips and the late Edna Morris Phillips. She was a retired seamstress. Mrs. Turner was pre-deceased by her first husband, Isaac Eugene "Bill" Lewis. Surviving Mrs. Turner in addition to her husband of the home are: a daughter, Gina Lee and her husband Eddie of Dillon; two grandchildren; Billy Lee and Megan Lee; a sister, Susie LeGette of Centenary; two brothers, Jimmy Phillips of Kannapolis, N.C., Ralph Phillips of Marion, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, at Devotion Gardens Cemetery. The services will be directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home.
