!NOTE:From Sandra Fender: Looking for the parents of Joel Hensley.He was born about 1848 in Yancey County. Died in 1932 at the age of 85. Hewas a minister & Farmer. His wife was Phinetta Radford.Death certificate says his parents were John Briggman & Mary Hensley bothof Madison County.In 1848 there was no Madison County. I cannot find a John Briggman on the1850 Yancey census and don't have the patience to go through all theHensleys in Yancey looking for a Mary of the right age.
