Mr. Turner was born in North Carolina, a son of the late Joe and Lou Brice Caulder Turner. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and member of Ariel Baptist Church. He was retired from Rock Tenn Paper Pulp, where he was the Woodyard Supervisor. Donald loved to read; work in his yard with a glass of "ice tea" in hand and going to Jimmy B's to see his friends. He died as he lived--always with a smiling face and caring hand, and putting family, friends, and others first. He will be truly missed by all that knew him and remembered by all that loved him.
Surviving are his wife Brenda C. Turner of the home; son, Kevin Turner (Tammy) of Marion, SC; grandchildren, Owen Turner and Will Turner; brothers, Jerry Turner of Marion, SC, David Turner of Latta, SC, Larry Turner (Wanda) of Mulberry, FL, and Terry Turner of Florence, SC; sisters, Julia Richardson of Latta, SC and Dianne Levy Hunt of Marion, SC.
