!OBITUARY:
Hoyt Skipper, 75, died Saturday, October 26, 2013 after an illness. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Richardson Funeral Home, burial will follow at Palmetto Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 29, from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Skipper was born in Horry County, a son of the late Fred and Ethel Hardwick Skipper. He was also predeceased by a son, Bobby Singleton; brothers, Willie Joe Skipper and Lonnie Skipper; and sisters, Elwood Ramsey and Irene Ford. Mr. Skipper was retired from Russell Stover's Candy as a cook and was also served in the Army National Guard.
Surviving are his wife, Florence Johnson Skipper of the home in Greenville, SC; son, Anthony Skipper and his wife, Angela, of Piedmont, SC; daughter, Judy Skipper of Florence, SC; brother, Doug Skipper of Murrells Inlet, SC; sister, Juanita Calhoun of Gresham, SC; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Florence Skipper, 70, died Saturday, May 30, 2015 after an illness. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Richardson Funeral Home of Marion, burial will follow at Palmetto Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Skipper was born in West Virginia, a daughter of the late Neva Johnson. She is also predeceased by her husband, Hoyt Skipper. Mrs. Skipper was retired from Kingston Nursing Center where she worked in housekeeping. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving are her son, Anthony Skipper (Angela) of Piedmont, SC; brothers: Bill Johnson, David Johnson, Carl Johnson, Harold Johnson, Roger Johnson, Phillip Johnson, and Johnny Johnson; sister: Geneva Treadgill, Faye Collins, Katie Patsel, Nancy Toler, and Dorothy Vestal; and three grandchildren.
