Daniel Turner:
Notes:
!NOTES:Marty Grant's 3rd Great Grand Father.;
!NOTES:Daniel Turner's parents are unproven. He lived in the same area as the John & Patience (Smith) Turner family, so it is reasonable to assume he is related to them. DNA evidence seems to suggest that as well. That would mean he is most likely a son of Reuben, John (Jr) or William Turner. Based on available records, I have tentatively listed him as a son of Reuben. That could change pending better evidence. Don't take this connection as gospel.;

!NOTES:Daniel died sometime between 1860 and 1870, but I don't know where. It appears the family moved from the Catfish region (Kerby Township) to east of Mullins in this period. Did Daniel die before or after the move? Did his death have anything to do with the Civil War (1861-1865)? If he died after the move he may be buried at the McMillan Cemetery next to his wife Martha. There is an empty spot next to her grave that may be him.;
!LAND LOCATION:Daniel was deeded 50 acres in 1824, and another 50 in 1830, both by Christopher Dew. Metes and bounds not given in abstract. Bordered by George Sweat and Nathan Hulon.;
