!OBITUARY:
Deborah Denise “Dee Dee” Rushing Ivey

Deborah Denise “Dee Dee” Rushing Ivey, 38, wife of James Arren “Jamie” Ivey, II died Thursday, March 15, 2018 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence after an illness.

Dee Dee was born November 19, 1979 in Marion, the daughter of William Edward and Deborah Ann Causey Rushing. She was a homemaker. Dee Dee was a graduate of Green Sea-Floyds High School, where she was a member of the high school band and she was a graduate of Coastal Carolina University.

Surviving Dee Dee in addition to her husband of the home are: her Parents: William Edward and Deborah Ann Causey Rushing of Nichols; her Daughters: Summer Brooke Thurman and her fiancé Quentin Lacy Strickland of Loris and Ashlyn Breanna Ivey of the home; a Brother: William Thomas Rushing and his wife Becky Thompkins Rushing of Conway; her Nieces: Ruby Wren Rushing, Haleigh Davis and McKenna Davis; and a Special Friend: Heather Altman and her daughter, Layla Hammond.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, March 18, at the Chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home, with Rev. Tyler Caines officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Nichols.

Visitation will be held Saturday evening from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. at Cox-Collins Funeral Home.
