Benjamin Johnson has Jesse Williams (1856 Cherokee N.C. age 26) and William Williams (1856 Cherokee Co., N.C. age 52) as sons-in-law (or is this Wm. the father of Wm. the son-in-law?), also has son Perry,31 in 1856 of Blount Co. also Edington is bro-in-law of Benj. Johnson but his wife, Benjamin's sister, is dead. 1856: witness John Grant, 26, is husband of one of Johnson's daus. Abraham Hicks of Blount Co. is 2nd cousin to Saml. Edington and to Benj.
