It is possible she is the same person as Nema Orton (c1908) d/o Milas Orton & Bettie/Bettis who were in Cherokee in 1910. If so, she was first married to Dawson William Ledford (1903-1939) of Cherokee Co., NC, leaving a widow "Nema Ledford".
Nema O. Byrd b. 12 Jul 1907 d. 1 Apr 2009 Gaston Co., NC. May be same person as above.
