!OBITUARY:
Patricia Anderson Perkins, 78, of Topton passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023, in a Murphy care facility. She was a native and lifetime resident of Cherokee County. Patsy worked in the textile industry for both Berkshire and Lee for more than 30 years. She then worked for Snap-On Tools the next 21 years assembling pneumatic tools. Patsy kept her membership at Red Marble Baptist Church but was attending Hosanna Baptist Church in Robbinsville. Patsy had a strong work ethic, had high morals and standards for herself and her friends and family. She was a devoted and faithful Christian woman and she loved her family greatly.

She was the daughter of the late Dillard and Alberta Conley Anderson and the wife of the late Larry Perkins, who died July 20, 2023. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Shirley Stowe, Sandra Gilbert, and Bobbie Brank; and two brothers, Frank Stowe and Kenneth Anderson.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday, October 18, 2023 in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Andrews with the Rev. Mickey Stewart officiating. Music will be provided by the Smoky Mountain Singers. The interment will be in Valleytown Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jarrid Anderson, Jacob Michael, Isaiah Michael, Eddie Waldroup, Carroll Hyde, and Daniel Cruze. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Waldroup and Michael Sawdy.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:45 Wednesday afternoon at the Ivie Funeral Home, Andrews prior to the services.
