* I believe that Nathaniel and those that are listed after him are Stewarts, not Borings. They are next door to Austin Stewart who is a son of Nathaniel Stewart who is other missing in 1850. I found no listings for a Nathaniel Boring in 1830 or 1840.
* I believe this is a case of the census taker simply failing to change the house and family numbers, that Nathaniel et al were not residing with the Boring family at it would appear. On the other hand, they might have been. I don't know of any relationship. Abraham Boring's wife was Lenora Mitchell, b 1830 in SC.
