!OBIT:Robert Vernon "Buddy" Lewis, 67, died Monday, December 13, 2010 at Marion Regional Hospital after an illness.
Buddy was born November 27, 1943 in Marion County, a son of the late Pearly and Mary Ethel Smith Lewis.
Surviving are a sister, Shirley Turner of Aynor; his nephews, and nieces, Tony Gene Lewis of Mullins, Chad Edward Lewis of Mullins, Mary Grace Cook of Mullins, Bonnie Turner of Aynor, and Henry Thomas Turner of Timmonsville.
Buddy was predeceased by a brother, Gene Baker Lewis.
The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon, December 15, 2010, from 2:30 until 3:30 p.m., at Cox-Collins Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 4 p.m. in Smith Cemetery, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home.
