!NOTES:
Priscilla Stroud, 50 (c1800 NC) was living with Peter G. Stroud (1807) in 1850 Union Co., GA. The obvious reasons for this would be (in no particular order)
1 - She is his "spinster" sister.
2 - She's his widowed sister-in-law.
3 - She's his aunt by blood.
4 - She's his aunt by marriage, now widowed.
5 - She isn't a Stroud at all, but mistakenly listed as such.
6 - She's his mother, but her age is listed wrong by a decade or so.
7 - She's related to his wife instead of him. However, as a Carter researcher (Peter's wife Lucinda Carter was my aunt by blood), I've found no place for her in the Carter family.;
8 - Other explanations?;


!NOTES:William Stroud, 17 was also with Peter Stroud in 1850, listed after his children, but before Priscilla. Was he Priscilla's son? I once made that assumption, but I could easily be wrong. If he is her son, then she was married to a Stroud prior to 1833 who died prior to 1850.

There was a John Stroud (1790/1800) in Rabun Co., GA in 1830 with a wife same age. They had no children suggesting they'd just recently married. This could very *easily* be Priscilla's husband. I mention that because Peter Stroud (with whom she was living in 1850) married in Rabun Co., GA in 1837.

If John was her husband, then that probably means Priscilla is Peter G. Stroud's aunt.;
