!NOTES:I have no direct proof that Miles is a son of Andrew Davis, but it seems likely based upon his locations: (1) born in Iredell when Andrew was there, (2) lived in Yancey Co., NC when Andrew was there, (3) lived in Cocke Co., TN when Andrew was there, and (4) moved to Cherokee (now Graham) Co., NC where other children of Andrew moved and lived near one another, and (5) Andrew did have an apparent son this age with him in 1830 and 1840.

* The above doesn't prove that Andrew is Miles's father, but it does seem to show a close connection.;
