Wilbur K. Edwards

Wilbur K. Edwards of Dothan AL, formerly of Horry County, died September 30, 1961. Mr. Edwards was born July 21, 1880, in Horry County, a son of the late William and Cornelia L. Edwards. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He was first married to Mrs. Violet Demont Edwards. Surviving this union are two daughters, Mrs. J. B. Chestnut of Tampa FLA, and Mrs. Buford Clark of Dothan AL, and a son Harold C. Edwards of Dothan. Surviving his second marriage are the widow, Mrs. Georgia Revels Edwards; a daughter Mrs. J. B. Allen of Conway, and a son Floyd Revels. Of Troy AL. Also surviving are four sisters Miss Luna Edwards of Aynor, Mrs. Perry Blanton of Chadburn NC, Mrs. Same Singleton of Conway, and Mrs. Mayo Carmicheal of Aynor; two brothers R. E. Edwards of Ocilla GA, and W. G. Edwards of Conway; 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
