!DEED:21 Nov 1790 Brunswick Co, VA Deeds 15-166 This Indenture made this 21st day of November 1790 BETWEEN Edward FREEMAN of the County of Brunswick of the one part and John BURNITT of the County of Brunswick of the other part . . . for and in consideration of the sum of twenty-one pounds five shillings . . . hath granted bargained and sold unto the said John Burnitt a certain tract or parcel of land lying in the County of Brunswick the South side Meherrin River containing one hundred acres of land . . . and bounded as followeth (to wit) BEGINNING at a sweet gum on the Buck Water Branch on John Burnitts line thence Eastward along the said Burnitts line to a corner blackjack on Dugless Wilkins line thence Northward along the sd. Wilkins line to a corner hicory thence alonge James Stewards line North Westward to a corner hicory on the East side the aforesaid Buckwater Branch thence Southward along the various courses of the sd.
