To the Ordinary of Towns County The undersigned a citizen of and residing in the State of
Georgia of lawful age and next of Kin to Ewel J Bryson formerly of Said County who departed
this life intestate on the __ day of 1880 residing at the time of his death in said county of Towns
worth about $500.00 in lands in said State respectfully Showeth to the Court that he deserves a
citation to issue in his behalf Calling upon all persons interested to show cause at the proper time and place why letters of administration upon said Ewel J. Bryson’s Estate Should not be granted to him Further your Petitioner Showeth that he is qualified to become Such administrator and will faithfully administer Said Ewel J Bryson’s Estate This Sept 20th 1881

Towns Court of Ordinary November Term 1881 Citation having been duly issued and published requiring all and singular the next of kin and creditors of Ewel J. Bryson deceased late of Said County to appear at this term and Show Cause if any they Could, why permanent letters of administration Should not be granted to W E Bryson of Said County and the parties so cited making no valid objection in the premis. It is ordered by the Court that letters of administration issue to W E Bryson as administrator of Ewel J Bryson upon his giving bond and Security in the sum of Six hundred dollars, with Warren Kerby Security and taking the usual oath of office Witness my official signature this November the 7th 1881

By the Ordinary of Said County Ewel J Bryson late of Said County in which he died resident having lately departed this life intestate possession of a large estate real and personal in Said State and W E Bryson of said county having at a regular term of Said Court been vested with the administration of the estate of Said Ewel J Bryson on condition of his Giving Bond and Security according to the direction of the court and taking the usual oath of office and Said W. E. Bryson having fully complied with the direction of the court, this is to show that Said W E Bryson is fully empowered and required to do and perform all the duties of an administrator of Ewel J Bryson to administrator according to law all the estate of said Ewel J Bryson to ask demand and recover all of Said estate(marked out) J Bryson’s claim to pay all his obligations So far as the estate will extend, and the residue to pay out to the lawful heirs of said Ewel J Bryson to make all propper returns inventories appraisements and whatever other duty as such administrator the law devolves upon him
