Clifford Anderson
Clifford Anderson,75,of Rt. Robbinsville, passed away Thursday, Oct. 21,1999, at Harris Regional Hospital in Sylva.
He was a native of Graham County and the son of Addie Carpenter Anderson and the late, Jeff James Anderson. He was a Purple Heart veteran of WW ll serving in the United States Army. He retired from, Stanley Furniture in 1995 and has since been employed with the U.S. Forest Service.
He is survived by his wife, Fannie Keever Anderson; sons LeRoy Anderson of Marble, Edward Anderson, Cyde, Johnny, Jerry and Robert Anderson, all of Robbinsville daughters, Marie Truett of Andrews, and Pam Shaffer of Robbinsville; brothers, Robert Anderson of Tampa, Fla., Emmett and Leonard T. Anderson, both of Robbinsville. He had 16 grandchildren and five great_grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 24, at Sweetgum Baptist Church. The Reverends Jack Millsaps, Daniel Stewart and Gary Crisp officiated. Burial was in the Wiggins Cemetery.
Townson_Smith, Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
