Phillip Head is documented to have fathered several out of wedlock children. He is a prime suspect to be William C. Grant's father. Furthermore, one descendant of Phillip Head and one of William C. Grant are a reasonably close Y-DNA match at 25 markers. Further testing would help solidify this link;
