March 31, 2019
MARION
 Berniece Ammons, 95, passed away at Florence Place on Sunday, March 31, 2019 after an extended illness. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Palmetto Memorial Gardens directed by Richardson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ammons was born in Georgetown, SC, a daughter of the late Henry Lee Gunter and Avrill Joye Gunter. She is also preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Ammons, Sr; son, James Thomas Ammons, Jr.; and a granddaughter, Samantha Ammons. Mrs. Ammons was retired but previously worked in real estate and   for the USDA. She was a member of Marion Baptist Church.
Surviving are her son, Gene Randal Ammons of Marion, SC; daughter, Helen A Froebe and her husband, Henry, of Indian Trail, NC; sister, Bonnie Fogle of Marion, SC; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
