GASTONIA ? Ida Bell Hooper Stewart, 81, 1015 W. Sixth Ave., died Feb. 10, 2001, at Rehabilitation and Health Center of Gastonia.

She was a native of Cherokee County, daughter of the late Monroe and Martha Wiggins Hooper, wife of the late Claude B. Stewart, member of South Gastonia Pentecostal Holiness Church.

SURVIVORS: Daughter, Beatrice Patterson, Gastonia; sister, Betty Strickland, Virginia; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: Sons, Edward and Melvin Stewart; sister, Pauline Himebaugh.

FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Tuesday, South Gastonia Pentecostal Holiness Church, Rev. Brent Grigg

BURIAL: Gaston Memorial Park

VISITATION: 6-8 tonight, Greene Funeral Service Southside Chapel, and other times at the home
