!NOTES:I don't know who Elizabeth's husband might have been.
Since she was two houses from Noah Stewart (1786-1881) in 1850 Union Co., GA, I've assumed that her Mr. Stewart might be a brother of Noah's, but that isn't certain at all. It's entirely possible her husband was part of the Nathaniel Stuart family instead. I have no strong clues to be sure either way.

Another possibility is that she is the same widow Elizabeth Stewart from the 1840 census in Henderson Co., NC who I think was the widow of Charles Stuart who died there in the 1830s.
- Reason 1.
-- D/C of Elizabeth's daughter Narcissa Hampton Leatherwood (1929 OK) lists her father as ***** Hampton (with both "John" and "Charles" written in on top of each other, not clear which was meant to be correct. Mother was listed as --- Stewart.
-- Funeral home record for Narcissa lists her father as Charles Hampton.
-- There is no Charles Hampton anywhere in the south on the 1840 census. There are a few John Hamptons.
-- I think perhaps the informant confused Narcissa's grandfather Charles Stewart for her father John Hampton, thus coming up with Charles Hampton. This would make sense because Charles Stewart died in the 1830s and his widow does seem to be named Elizabeth Stewart, listed on the 1840 census in Henderson Co., NC.
-- One problem with this theory is that Elizabeth, Charles Stuart's widow, is older than Elizabeth Stewart of 1850 Union Co., GA. That could be easily explained though since she was listed as "60" in 1850. Good round ages like that are often estimates.
-- I can't prove any of this.
-- Thanks to Sherry Babb for sharing information from Narcissa's death records (1999);
