!OBITUARY:
Charles Frank Bryson, 82, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018.

Born in Macon County, he was the son of the late John Ray Bryson and Alice Amelia Wright Bryson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded his step-son, John Wayne Roper. Charles was a retired diesel mechanic and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. He was a great husband, father, friend and farmer.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Frances Holland Bryson; three children, Charles “Chuck” Stanley Bryson (Cindy) of Mulberry, FL, Deanna Pace (Bill) New Port Richey, FL, and Shelly Peeples (Matthew) of Lithia, FL; two brothers, Leslie Bryson (Linda) of Franklin and James Bryson (Pat) of SC; sister, Alice Davis (Roger) of Franklin; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and eight nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 26, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Chastain will officiate. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00-1:00 p.m., Wednesday, prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Charles S. Bryson, Jeremy Bryson, Steven Bryson, Kenny Maxson, Terry Scott and Michael Bryson.
