I (Marty Grant) am not related to Sibba Hensley as far as I know.
Sibba Hensley is a proven child of James Hensley Sr. She is named in an 1837 Yancey Co, NC deed as an heir of James.
Sibba Hensley was born ca 1790 in Burke Co, NC (now Yancey Co, NC). She was a child of James Hensley Sr and his wife (possibly Jamima Angel, but that is unproven).
Sibba Hensley never married as far as I can tell, but she may have had at least one child out of wedlock, or perhaps the child was a niece that she raised instead. I can't say for sure.
Sibba was probably home with her father James Hensley in Burke Co, NC for the 1790 census (he had 4 females with him then, probably wife, and 3 daughters), assuming she was born yet.
Sibba was apparently home with her father James Hensley in Buncombe Co, NC for the 1800 census, in the "under 10" category (born ca 1790/1800).
Sibba was apparently home with her father James Hensley in Buncombe Co, NC for the 1810 census, in the age 16-25 category (born ca 1784/94).
Sibba's mother had died before 1810, and her father James died in the 1810-1820 timeframe. After that, Sibba seemed to be with her brother Berry Hensley for several years.
Sibba might be with her brother Berry Hensley for the 1820 census in Buncombe Co, NC. He had a very large household then, and Sibba might be with him (I'm fairly sure she was) in the age group 26-44 (born ca 1775/1794). I can't prove it was her, but it seems likely.
Sibba was probably still with her brother Berry for the 1830 census in Buncombe County, for once again he had a very large household, including an "extra" female in the age 40-49 category (born ca 1780/90).
Yancey County was formed in 1833 from the part of Buncombe where Sibba and family were residing.
On 3 Apr 1837 "Sebey Hensley" of Yancey County, "being heir of James Hensley, decd" sold property to Thomas Gardner for $25, being "the 1/3 part" of 2 tracts in Yancey County, on waters of Caney River, both sides of Aylers Creek, adjoining George Wilson, said Gardner Joseph and Thomas Ray. Tract 1 being 100 acres, and tract 2 being 70 acres, both "above where Berry Hensley now lives". Witnesses were Thomas Wilson and "J. Gardner". (Yancey Co, NC Deed Book 1 page 216 from "Index and Abstract of Deeds of Yancey Co., NC Deed Book 1" by Sally Williams, 1985).
The above deed shows Sibba to be an "heir" of James Hensley deceased (does not prove she was his daughter but that seems most likely. It also shows she had one third of his estate (and since I've found only two other heirs, this makes sense), and also shows her land bordered Berry Hensley (one of the other heirs).
Sibba Hensley was listed as a Head of Household in Yancey County for the 1840 census. She was not near any other Hensley households, but listed between William Phillips and Locky Ray (female). It just seemed to be Sibba and Huldah, her daughter (or niece?). Though the nearest Hensley's were many houses away (at the end of the next page) it probably wasn't really all that far.

Sibba Hensley was listed on the 1850 Yancey County census as head of household, once again, just her and Huldah. Her neighbor on one side was John Thomason and on the other side was Thomas Wilson (not the same one married to Mary Hensley daughter of Colbert Hensley).

Sibba and her daughter Huldah were still in Yancey Co, NC for the 1860 census.

I did not find Sibba Hensley on the 1870 census. She may have died by then.
Sibba Hensley seems to have one child, a daughter, probably born out of wedlock. It is also possible that she wasn't her child at all, but a niece instead, however, she was apparently with Sibba for several decades.
Huldah Hensley was born ca 1818/1819 in Buncombe Co, NC (now Yancey Co, NC). Huldah was with Sibba Hensley for the 1850 and 1860 census, and apparently with her in 1840, and most likely with her (at Uncle Berry Hensley's house) in 1820 and 1830.
For the 1820 census, she was probably with her mother who was probably with Berry Hensley. Berry had six females under age 10 (born ca 1810/20) with him in 1820. Huldah would have been just a few months to a little over a year old.
In 1830, Sibba still seemed to be with her brother Berry Hensley, and that would mean Huldah was there also. Berry had two girls of similar age to Huldah, age 10-14 (born ca 1815/20). One of these might be Huldah.
In 1840, Sibba was head of household, and had one female age 20-29 with her (born ca 1810/20), most likely Huldah.
In 1850, Huldah was listed as age 25 (born ca 1824/25) which doesn't fit well with her other records, but in 1860 she was 31 (born ca 1818/19) which works just fine.
I did not find her in 1870.
Huldah was in neighboring Madison Co, NC for the 1880 census, residing with Wiley Boon (c1848) and Mary A. Boone (c1852), listed as his "Aunt". ** I don't have this entry typed up yet.
