  !OBIT: Friday, March 6, 2009 7:33 AM CST Marty George Martin “Marty” Grady George, 55, of Tallulah Road in Robbinsville, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, Feb. 26, 2009 unexpectedly at his residence. He was a native of Graham County and the son of Ruby Nell Hyde George and the late Martin Laverne “Cotton” George. Marty was an avid sportsman and had a great love for hunting and fishing. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife of 25 years, Donna Crisp George; his daughter and son-in-law, Jillann and Eric Barlow of New Johnsonville, Tenn.; son and daughter-in-law, Shannon and Jennifer George of Robbinsville; son and his girlfriend, Cody George of Robbinsville, and Kelsie Curtis of Bryson City. Funeral Services were held at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 1 at the Townson-Smith chapel with Revs. Harold Beasley and Noah Crowe officiating. Committal services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 2 at the Old Mother Cemetery. Townson-Smith Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
