The author has written a wonderful book on the Grant family, focusing on some of the branches in Macon County, North Carolina. This book fills in many details on those families which makes it an excellent supplement to my Grant book published in 2003. The primary focus is on William C. Grant (1826) of Macon, and his cousin Joseph A. Grant (c1836) also of Macon.
The first part of the book is filled with photos, family stories and family traditions as well as countless facts and numerous original documents. The second part is a register report that lists the family details down to recent generations.
