Orator Griffin Coleman and his wife Elizbeth Coleman show that Joseph Davis Sr late of Marion Dist, died testate his will dated 12 Feb 1828 ... testator died 183-.
Legacy should have been paid in 1834, oratrix was then 9 or 10 years of age. In Feb 1837 the orator and oratrix intermarried. Further show that Hugh G. Fladger who is entitled to share of estate in right of his wife (not named) ...
Benjamin S. Davis died in 1843 leaving Julian Davis his widow and the following children:

Joseph J. Davis and W. C. Davis should be made parties ... both are out of state.

William Johnson, Joseph Johnson and James Johnson, children of Wiley Johnson, decd. Laura Durant child of Susan Johnson who married W. W. Durant, Abraham Johnson, being children of Eliza Davis who married Johnson both of whom have long since departed this life.
Also Catherine Davis who married John E. Collin, Daniel Keen Davis, Susan B. Davis (who married William Davis), James Preston Davis and Benjamin Franklin Davis who are children of decd son Benjamin Davis.
Mary Thomas is advanced in years and has never had any offspring.
