Horry Weekly News October 28, 1876
Pugh Floyd

In this county, on the 17th inst., Mr. Pugh Floyd, aged 85 years, 7 months and
15 days.

The deceased was a faithful solider of his country in the war of 1812, and for
many years has been a faithful solider under the banner of the Cross. A
consistent member of the M. E. Church; generous; open-hearted and kind to his
neighbors his house was never closed against the stranger. A good man in a
ripe old age has gone to his reward.

!NOTES:I don't have absolute proof that Jane Graham is a child of William Graham, but --
(1) She fits in his 1800 and 1810 household.
(2) She named her oldest son "William" and no one in the Floyd family had that name at that time.
(3) She named her oldest dau "Elizabeth" which is William Graham's wife. Of course it is also her husband's mother's name.
(4) She was *not* named in William Graham's Will of 1820, so that might preclude her from the family. Then again, he may have already given her an inheritance prior to then.
(5) I have lots of DNA matches to other descendants of William. Doesn't prove he's my ancestor, but he is definitely related.;
