!NOTES:Named as a child of Meshack and Rebecca in article by great grandchild of Meshack Johnson, published in IRQ in 1970 (shared by Keith Edwards 2014)
- However, I wonder if author wasn't confused. Our Allen died in 1865, long before writer was born (1886). Allen C. Johnson married one of Meshack's daughters (Alice) who wasn't mentioned in article. Author might have assumed "Uncle Allen" was son of Meshack instead of son in law. That would mean our Allen W. Johnson not part of this family. That tracks with 1830 and 1840 census analysis that leaves no room for our Allen.;

Ann Eliza vs. Celia Jolly & minors (suit for partition of estate). Celia
Jolly is the widow of the deceased.
